2019 Zone Challenger
About this tournament
Come join us while we help raise funds for the 2020 Myrtle Beach Chili Open.
The 2019 Zone Challenger!
Upon registration, each player will receive a custom stamped Discraft JB Zone and a custom stamped JB challenger, as well as, one Raffle ticket. Each player can purchase additional tickets for $5.00 (up to 2 additional tickets). These funds will contribute to the 2020 Chili Open. Prizes include: one Discraft Chainstar Light Practice Basket, two LE Discraft Cryztal Luna’s, one First Run BM Buzzz, one pair of Soul Combat+ Headphones, one Adidas Climalite hat and 50% off at adidasoutdoor.com and one paid AM entry to the 2020 MB Chili Open.
Format, Division, and Trophies:
Format.
We will be playing a flex start singles stroke play event, on a special 23 hole layout at Socastee Rec Park. (All par 3’s & 4’s) Each player will be provided a Custom Stamp Discraft JB Zone and a Custom Stamp Discraft JB Challenger. You will be allowed to select one non putting disc from your bag. Make your own cards (groups of 3 to 5) or come out and get carded up with some new friends. This will be a 3 Disc challenge.
Divisions.
The tournament will have 3 different divisions.
Novice, Intermediate, & Advanced in both a woman’s and men’s.
I would like to get some new players to come out to this event so I’ll be monitoring the divisions closely. I ask that you only sing up for novice if you are truly a new player. Please no Sandbagging!!!
Trophies.
Trophies will be awarded to the top two participants in each division.
The trophies will consist of a Custom Stamp Discraft Swirly ESP Disc with a Custom drawn bottom Stamp by Benjamin Hopwood Disc Design.
