Are you ready to experience some disc golf USDGC Doubles action on one of the nicest golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area? We are!
The Teddy Peddler has partnered with Arrowhead Country Club to deliver a temporary 18-hole disc golf layout for all to come and experience. This beautiful property features perfect grass fairways and some gorgeous views of the Intercoastal Waterway. The layout will not be your typical tee to green ball golf hybrid disc golf layout. We will be utilizing the best features of the terrain and working the disc golf course throughout the property to utilize the trees and other natural features.
This sanctioned doubles event will feature two 18-hole rounds of best-disc doubles using a tee time start for the field on both Round One & Round Two. There will be time for a break in between rounds and your afternoon tee time will follow.
The Amateur teams will receive a USDGC Doubles Disc & a custom Teddy Peddler stamped disc from Innova. Team prize payouts will be redeemable at the on-site TTP Disc Golf store. This event will be a USDGC Doubles event Qualifier: the Top teams will receive invitations to compete in the main event in Rock Hill, SC on the legendary Winthrop Gold layout along with the gorgeous Camp Canaan Riverbend Gold course.
Pros will be strictly cash prize payouts.
Food will be provided to all players after round 1

Golf carts will NOT be available for play during the tournament unfortunately, but they will be available to use during Friday and Saturday open play rounds for a $15 fee. A regular walking round during open play will be $5
The course will be set up for open play rounds wednesday July 27th - Saturday July 30th

· 1-14 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
· 15-24 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
· 25+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify
Women
· 1-5 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
· 6-10 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
· 11+ Teams – 3 Teams qualify
VERY IMPORTANT – 2022 has a new registration rule
Win and You’re In- If you are awarding more than 1 qualifier spot the winning team will be invited to register right away. Any additional qualified teams will be sent information on how to register but will have a later registration date. We will make sure to communicate this later date and rule clearly when we send qualified teams the event registration information.
All players must meet one of the following criteria in order to be eligible to compete in the USDGC Doubles Main event:
-Player is not a PDGA member or does not have a player rating and has never accepted cash in a PDGA event.
-Player has an Amateur Player Classification with the PDGA - meaning the player is classified as an amateur and plays in amateur divisions for prizes instead of cash. If a player plays in a Pro division and accepts cash at any time, they become classified as a Professional member. An Amateur class player has either never accepted cash, or if they have, they have later met the criteria to be reclassified from Professional back to Amateur with the PDGA.
