About this tournament

We're back for our 6th Full Send Best Doubles Charity Tournament, sponsored by Gateway Disc Sports!

Expect a super fun event with a CTP or Longest Drive prize on EVERY hole! With a great lunch to follow, while supporting a great cause in First Priority campus clubs.

ONE ROUND of best doubles (best throw rules) with a prize for the TOP 3 teams of each division!

$5 ACE POOL Buy-In (with $50 added) with a throw off CTP if no one hits it during the round. Winner splits 50/50 with the charity.

We will have 3 DIVISIONS this year: MA1, MA2, and MA3. Entry fees are the same for each, so find the best division for you and your partner below...

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR DIVISION
MA1 ("advanced") - 935+ average rating b/w you and your partner, OR if you and your partner can shoot around -10 at Clinton Hills.
MA2 ("intermediate") - 900-935, OR if you and your partner can shoot around -5 at Clinton Hills.
MA3 ("recreational") - <900, OR if you and your partner shoot over PAR at Clinton Hills.

ACE POOL
$5 Ace Pool entry. $50 Added.
Any Ace on Any Hole determines the winner. If no Aces are hit OR multiple aces from multiple players occur, a CTP throw off will be happen during lunch at a throw's distance from the practice basket.
Ace Pool will be split 50/50 with the Charity.

WAYS TO GET $5/10/15 OFF REGISTRATION!
1. Early Bird Discount of $5 OFF EACH PLAYER ends April 12th at midnight.
2. Student Discount for players 18 or under.
3. Donate a NEW disc (non-event disc) OR an unopened disc golf item towards our prizes!
$5 will be refunded at or after the event. Email [email redacted] a picture of your new, never thrown disc OR unopened item for approval.

BEST THROW RULES

1. Both team members throw from the teeing area.
2. The team then chooses which of the two positions to play from for the next throw. Both team members throw from the resulting lie, and the team again chooses which of the two positions to play from, and so on. There are no enforced penalties, please play honestly and both throw from the same chosen and marked lie.
3. A team completes a hole when either team member completes the hole.
The score for a team on a hole is the number of throws for the lies that were played.
4. If a team picks up a thrown disc before a lie has been chosen or marked with a marker disc, the team may not choose that throw. If a team picks up both thrown discs without a lie having been marked, the second disc to have been picked up is replaced to its original position as agreed upon by the group, and the team must play from the resulting lie.
5. If one team member is absent, late, or ceases play, the other team member may play, but no throws are made on behalf of the missing team member. A late team member may join play only between holes.
6. If a team reaches double par before the hole is completed, teams must take double par as their score for the hole & move on to the next hole.

Refund policy

Player fees can be transferred, but there are no refunds for cancellations if the event is canceled or postponed.
