About this tournament
The Mingos have evolved significantly over the years, starting with a handful of members, the flock really spread it's wings in 2023. The flock often comes together to support the growth of disc golf, raise awareness for charitable causes related to the sport, and foster a sense of camaraderie among players and fans.
The Mingo Mash is our second disc golf event and first attempt at a doubles tournament. We believe we have a fun and interactive idea for this tournament and hope this is the first of many!
This tournament is intended to raise funds for prizes and giveaways at our Mingo Throw, which supports the Sockibomb Foundation, the first day of the Dynamic Disc Open in Emporia.
We'll also be selling our 2024 Mingo jerseys in which a portion of the proceeds ($5/shirt) go to the installation of signage and tee pads at Wolf Den Disc Golf Course at Mission Trail Middle School.
