Transport & Accommodation
There is great access to the site via vehicle using the A34 and M4, The nearest Train Station is Newbury (4 Miles, 10 mins by car / taxi, 20 minute bike ride). Newbury is a big town with lots of accommodation, restaurant and entertainment options.

Practice
Players are able to practice the course on Friday the 9th of August between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Due to this being a pop-up course, the course isn't available to practice outside of this. This property is a boarding school for deaf children, so accessing this property outside the tournament and practice day is strictly not allowed.

Tournament Schedule
SummerSlam players will be playing three rounds. All rounds will be done by tee times which will be released prior to the tournament. 2 rounds will be played on Saturday and 1 round on Sunday.

On Saturday, rounds will be starting at 8am, there will be 4 & a half hours between tee times, we are estimating rounds should take 3 and a half hours with an hour for lunch between rounds. You don't need to leave the property to get food, you can get hot and cold food, with hot and cold drinks from the diner on site (menu and prices will be tbc but similar to last year).

On Sunday, the final rounds will start teeing off at 9:30am and we expect the last card to finish at around 4:30pm. We will then have prize giving at the tee of Hole 1 very soon after the final card has finished. When prize giving and thank yous are over, everyone is welcome to go home, we'd really appreciate players stay, follow the last card and stay for the prize giving.

Course Design
This course is only available to play at this tournament. It has been designed and refined since the start of 2021. There are some new holes and tweaks when compared to the course played in 2022.

The course is made up from long bombable par 3's, difficult risk / reward choices, it has some fun go-able island par 4's, technical wooded holes and open field holes. We are really excited to welcome people back to our creation to see and play the tweaks we have made.

You'll need to make smart decisions and have a real handle on your course management to play this course well. Come join us this year and put our course to the test!!

Please keep an eye out for an updated course map, course flythrough and other tournament related media which will be released throughout 2024.

Registration
The tournament is capped at 100 players and registration is coming in two phases.

Phase 1 - Friday 10th May 2024 8pm
Phase 2 - Friday 17th May 2024 8pm

Registration fees are £70 for Pro Divisions, £60 for Amateur Divisions & £10 for Junior Divisions.

Phase 1 is a one week window where there is priority registration for MPO, FPO, FA1 and MA1. Phase 1 divisions are all capped at 25 participants. If after the one week window there are still available spaces, then caps on divisions will be removed and Phase 2 will be opened up for registration.

Phase 2 is where the rest of the divisions (MP40, FP40, FA3, MA3, FA40, MA40, MJ18, MJ15, FJ18 & FJ15) will be able to sign-up to be part of the 2024 Summer Slam event. There will be no divisional caps for Phase 2, and there will be a waitlist in place if we reach capacity (more information below).

We are not including MA & FA4 divisions due to the difficulty of the course, it's going to be a big challenge for MA & FA3.

Registration Close Registration closes Sunday July 28th at Midnight.

All divisions are open to sign up to, but when registration closes divisions with fewer than 5 players will be condensed into other relevant divisions (the exceptions being FPO, FP40, MPO, MP40, FA1, FA40, MA1 & MA40)

*Winners from the previous SummerSlam tournament, Team Ace Players & Co-Hosts of the AmSide podcast will have access to early registration.
