Event Information
PDGA A-tier event. You do not have to be a current PDGA member to register but you will need to be current by 4/25/24 or you will be removed from the registered list.

All Players will play one round per day (FRI, SAT, SUN) with an assigned tee time, for a total of 3 rounds. Tee times are random, even on Friday.

$3000+ Added cash to Pro payout pool

Amateur Player pack will not be revealed ahead of time but is a minimum of $200 retail value
Amateurs play for trophies only. There is no post event payout for Ams.

All players are entered into the $500 Ace Pot.

The 2024 Magic City Mega Bowl Dress Code

All violations of the Dress Code Policy shall be considered a courtesy violation (see 812, Courtesy, in the Competition Manual).

All competitors and staff are required to wear an upper garment and lower outer garment, such as a shirt and pants/shorts/skirt.

All competitors and staff are required to wear shoes or other foot coverings. Players will not be allowed to play in bare feet. Sandals or slides are allowed.

Competitor attire should be free of holes, tears, or rips at the start of each round.

No offensive, profane, or obscene slogans or logos are allowed on any clothing.

Junior players may not wear slogans or logos referring to alcohol, tobacco, or drugs.

Jan 16, 2024 - 8 pm CST - Registration open for Early Hole Sponsors ($35 per hole). A limited number of spots are available

Jan 22, 2024 - 8 pm CST - Registration opens for all players

Feb 26, 2024 - Layouts will be posted by 9pm

March 26, 2024 - 8pm - Divisions locked (divisions must have 3 players or players will be asked to move), trophies ordered based on participation.

April 21, 2024 - 10 pm CST - Registration closes.

April 22, 2024 - Initial tee times will be posted by 10pm

April 26, 2024 - Waitlisted players receive refunds.

· Cutoff date is 4/5/2024. After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate available basis.

· Individual reservations can be canceled and/or modified up to 24 hours prior to date of arrival by 4:00 PM local time without penalty. Any cancellations/modifications after this date/time or reservations that result in a NO SHOW will be charged one night’s room and tax.

· Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 11am. Early check in is determined on day of arrival and is not guaranteed.

Refund policy

Players MUST request a refund through DG Scene, email, or phone their withdrawals to the Tournament Director only at the contact information posted for the tournament. Discussions with persons other than the Tournament Director, including other tournament staff, shall not be considered official.

Entering refund requests in the Disc Golf Scene Comments section is not sufficient for withdrawal.

Withdrawals should be sent to [email redacted] or 205-529-9429.

Players who have paid more than a nominal waitlist fee of $10 to be on an event’s waitlist who do not get into the event, or who officially request to withdraw from the waitlist prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended), will receive a 100% monetary refund of that waitlist fee (minus up to a $10 handling fee).

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee (minus up to a $10 handling fee).

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee minus up to a $10 handling fee only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the TD has the choice to provide either a 50% monetary refund of their entry fee or just the player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 50% monetary refund.

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% monetary refund minus up to a $10 handling fee only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the TD has the choice to provide either a 25% monetary refund or just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% monetary refund.

Players who request withdrawal within 48 hours of the start of play, or who request withdrawal after the published close of registration and the published end of waitlist replacements, are not entitled to a refund. If a TD fills a player’s spot with a player on the waitlist at the time of withdrawal after the published close of registration and the published end of waitlist replacements, but more than 48 hours prior to the start of play, that player must receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee.
