About this tournament

FUNDRAISER:
Low am entry cost to HIGHLY ENCOURAGE donations towards course improvements!! Fundraising report will be public at end of the campaign. We have proposed new baskets, pin positions, new/updated tee pads, and other exciting updates ahead of CHC and TSUSMC! We will provide updates as plans are approved.

NOTE:
100% of donations made will directly support course improvements!

SNEAKY PENGUIN BREWERY:
Will be our Title Sponsor for the 2024 CADL Inc. Cedar Hills Championship, a two-day, two-round, tee time, true amateur PDGA B-Tier scheduled for April 6th - 7th.

NEW LAYOUT:
Cedar Hills will be a part of the 2024 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championship, and we're hoping to introduce a NEW never before seen layout to be used both days!! Details TBD. (Backup plan: Short/Long layouts)

COURSE CLOSURE:
The course will be closed for casual play from 9am - 3pm Saturday and Sunday. We have rented the facilities in partnership with Raleigh Parks & Recreation.

PLAYER’S PARTY:
Friday, April 5th we'll be at Sneaky Penguin Brewery from 6pm - 9pm and 10% of all sales will be donated towards course improvements!! In addition, Yeet Street Discs will be onsite with a pop-up shop for you to use your player's pack vouchers!

RAFFLE:
Every $10 donated = 1 entry into a giveaway with awesome prizes, including a membership to Acorn Hill DGC! You also get 2 entries for attending the players party! Drawing will be Saturday night and prizes available Sunday. This also extends to anyone NOT playing the event but wanting to donate!!

AM PLAYER'S PACKS:
Each amateur player will receive a $20 voucher to Yeet Street Discs and a drink ticket valued at $7.50 redeemable at Sneaky Penguin Brewery Friday 4/5 to Sunday 4/7. Players under 21 years of age can redeem their ticket for a non-alcoholic beverage or as a discount towards Sneaky Penguin swag!

ADDED CASH:
We've secured an added $1900 of in-kind and cash sponsorships to support payouts, player's packs, and trophies as we wanted to return over 100% entry back to players, with the ask you generously donate towards course improvements!

TROPHIES:
Following the PDGA true amateur requirements, divisions with 5 or less people will receive a trophy for 1st place only, divisions with 12 or less people will receive 1st and 2nd place trophies, and divisions with 30 or less people will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

VENDORS:
Yeet Street Discs will be onsite at the player's party, and both days at Cedar Hills for you to use your vouchers and support them for sponsoring CHC! In addition, we will have Must Bird Dyes and Sink'd In Ink on Saturday and Sunday with a percentage of their sales going towards the course improvement fund!

WARM UP AREA:
Players will have access to the softball field near hole 12 to warm up each day from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Please stay off the infield and do not jump the fence. We want to maintain a great partnership with Parks & Recreation, so please be courteous!

PASS THROUGH FEES:
In addition to PDGA sanctioning ($75), and per player fees ($3 per), we have purchased a COI for the event ($50), and are closing the course ($40/hr). The TD/ATDs and CADL Inc. are not collecting any registration or donation fees as part of this event.

ADDITIONAL:
In case you missed it above, am entry fees are low to encourage donations towards course improvements. You can make a donation directly to the event TD, Casey Mason (Paypal: @Cmason75), and a fundraising report will be published at the conclusion of the campaign.
