2024 SunBurnt Turkey

About this tournament
Hello everyone and welcome to the first ever SunBurnt Turkey!
If you've played a Burnt Turkey before, you know the drill. Tons of OB, mandos, worst shot, best shot. You name it, it's in here somewhere.
But there's one big difference about the SunBurnt Turkey. This time around, it's a singles competition. No teammate to blame if things go awry, it's all on you now.
This will be a two round tourney with slightly different rules each time. Very good chance all 36 holes you will play will have some sort of format/rule change associated with it. For example, here's what I'm preliminarily thinking for the first 3 holes:
Hole #1: (Short Tee, B Pin Position) 25 foot circle around basket and grass on other side of entrance road are the only areas in-bounds. Everything else is OB. If drive ends up OB, re-tee for third shot. If 3rd shot ends up OB, proceed to drop zone near circle’s edge for 5th shot
Hole #2: (Long Tee, A Pin Position) Mando right of tree 75 feet in front of short tee and mando right of tree short right of basket. Drop zones marked by blue flags and blue paint provided should you miss either mando
Hole #3: (A Pin Position) 12 foot circle around basket is OB, discs coming to rest in basket are in-bounds
This tournament will have 3 divisions. MPO should be played by anyone 950 or above, but that division is not limited to such players. MA1 should be played by those rated 900-950, and MA2 should be played by those 900 and below. MPO will be paid in cash and MA1/2 will be paid in merchandise by a vendor TBD.
Finally, and most importantly, this is a tournament where all profits will be donated to Alzheimer's research. Last year we were able to raise around $1,100 and I'd like to see that total hit again. $5 of every entry will be donated to charity and we have optional donation buttons on the registration page should you wish to contribute further.
