About this tournament
Welcome to the 29th Annual Texas State Disc Golf Championships - Presented by Lone Star Disc !!!!
We are absolutely honored to have the opportunity to carry the torch of Texas States. It is our goal to both honor the cherished traditions of the States event and push forward with the growth and progress of our beloved sport. As such, we will be offering divisions not previously offered at this event. Players from PRO all the way to MA4/FA4 and JR’s will get the red carpet treatment, as we promise to show the same attentions to detail to all players down the line
As a direct result of your enthusiasm and support of last years event, the City of Houston recognizes the value of our sport and is behind us 100% !!!
We now have a great relationship with parks administration and have established direct lines of communication with appropriate staff. HPar has made significant resources and manpower available to us leading up to the event. Trimming, manicuring, tee boxes and all other aesthetics will be greatly improved as a result.
Additionally, we are actively exploring better parking solutions. Shuttles, contracts with local lots and other options will be a top priority.

For 2024, we have split weekends for DGPT / A-TIER (Pro age-Am sides).
THIS REGISTRATION PAGE IS FOR THE PRO AGE/AM SIDE
This split will allow us to focus our FULL attn, assets and resources to AGE/AM side. Yall deserve our full attention and respect. You will have it.
This also means top course billing for AGE/AM on the 2nd weeknd and frees up our local volunteer base for the DGPT !!
The A-Tier side: will see $5000+ added cash to Pro and HUGE players packs for all ams. Those will be at MINIMAL deduction from entry fees, with est. $150 from each entry going to payout. This equates to HUGE payout numbers for all am and pro divisions. A -Tier players will span several courses, carefully selected as division appropriate.
ALL A-TIER SIDE PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A DISCOUNT CODE FOR TEXAS STATES DGPT TIX !!!!!

-$150 from each entry goes to performance based payouts (see MA4 info below)
-$25 from each entry will be earmarked for parks fees, trophies and event expenses.
-TROPHIES FOR TOP 3 PLAYERS IN EACH DIVISION !!!
(in the case of ties, players may play-off, CTP or staff will assist with a random drawing to determine trophy recipients. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORDERING EXTRA TROPHIES).
AM PLAYERS PACKS WILL BE HUGE !!!
-They will include 3 discs, TXSDGC umbrella, towel and other peripheral items.
-They'll be similar to last year in size and value, at minimal deduction from entry and HUGE payouts from top to bottom.
-PLAYERS PACKS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT BROCK HQ THROUGHOUT THE EVENT, FRI-SUN.
THERE IS NO NEED FOR EVENT CHECK-IN, but please check in with starters 10min before your tee-times.

It’s been the goal of HFDS/Gorilla/LSD/HDG to grow the sport and afford the same opportunities to players of all skill levels, when possible. The barrier in the past was capacity, of which we have plenty this year.
MA4/FA4 - ALL MA4/FA4 players will receive entry fee value in merchandise, in addition to their players packs, with Trophies for the top 3.
This value may be redeemed at ANY TIME during check-or during the event at BROCK HQ.
