2nd Annual Riverside Rambler

The Port Jervis Disc Golf Club would like to invite you to the Riverside Rambler, the 2nd Annual Bag Tag Challenge Tournament. The 2024 PJDGC Bag Tag Challenge will be held on Saturday April 27, 2024, and it is an unsanctioned event.

This is a club fundraiser event with 2024 bag tags issued based on finishing scores. All women competitors will get two bag tags -- our standard member tag as well as a ladies tag. Participating in this event will also make you an official member of the Port Jervis Disc Golf Club. All skill levels are welcome and the number one rules is to have fun!

If you’re new to the community, it's a great time to join our club and see what we're all about. Help us grow and make this a fun and successful bag tag season. The completion, maintenance, and success of this course will determine if we are able to build an 18 hole epic course in the Watershed Park and Recreation Area.

Registration
-We will use Disc Golf Scene for pre-registration.
-If you are only purchasing a 2024 bag tag and not playing in the event, select "tag" and the lowest available tag number will be awarded after the event.
-The cost to participate in the event will be $40 + fees.
-Players will have an option to buy into an Ace Pool, if there is no winners during the event these monies will rollover into the weekly league and monthly tag matches. IF there are multiple winners they will split the pot. The current Ace Pot, before registration, is $100.
-18 Tee sponsors are available at $25 a piece. Please consider sponsoring a hole to defray the club costs for holding this event.
-Registration OPENS Sunday March 17 at 8 am.
-Registration CLOSES at a player cap of 45 or on Friday April 26 at 5:00 PM EST.
-Event check in will be from 8-8:59 am in the Riverside Disc Golf Putting Area by the course map. Please Park in the marked parking area and leave the disc lot clear.
-This event will have a shotgun start and players will be directed to their starting holes by 9:15 am after a brief players meeting.
-If we do not sell out, limited slots may be available on the day of the event on a cash only basis.
-All groups will be maxed at 5 players.
-If you desire to play with a person or group of players, we will attempt to make that happen.
-Scoring will be completed on Udisc via the tournament function.
-Paper scorecards will be available if needed.

--There will be prizes awarded to the winners of each division. The following divisions are available.
-A minimum of 2 players is required per division or divisions maybe combined.
-Mixed Amateur 1
-Mixed Amateur 2
-Mixed Amateur 3
-Mixed Amateur 4
-Women's Amateur 1
-Women's Amateur 2
-Women’s Amateur 3
-Women's Amateur 4
--Also, prizes will be awarded to the player for CTP on a selected hole the day of the event.

Details
-Date: April 27, 2024
-Tee Times Start: 9:15 am, shotgun start.
-Red/White tee pads will be played for a total of 18 holes.
-Snacks will be available at the conclusion of the round of play while scores and places are being determined.
-Ties will be broken to determine bag tag numbers based on previous seasons tag numbers.
-Please bring 2023 tags to check-in, if you have one.
