Birdies For Bullseye - Charity Ace Race
About this tournament
EVENT BASICS:
Driftwood Creek Disc Golf Presents: Birdies for Bullseye! 2024. This ace race event features a NEW 9 hole layout played 3 times with distances allowing players of all skill levels to RUN IT!!! ONE SHOT PER HOLE ONLY resulting in an ACE or a Basket Hit or a MISS. Aces and Basket hits are recorded and the player with the most Aces Wins! In the case of a tie the Metal hits or "Basket Hits" will resolve the tie. Each player(first 75) will receive 1 custom event disc, 1 custom event sticker, and a special gift, along with the opportunity to participate in a ONE-OF-A-KIND Fundraiser benefiting an amazing Local Animal Rescue!
A LITTLE ABOUT THE CAUSE:
With so much going on in today's world Animal Rescues continue to struggle keeping animals safe and comfortable while they search tirelessly for forever homes suitable to take them in. Every little bit helps and Do Only Good Animal Rescue will receive ALL the proceeds from this event.
EVENT RULES:
All participants must use the disc received in their players pack during registration the day of the event, this ensures no player is bringing a tried and true straight flying "Ace Machine" to dominate this event, Discs available should suit every players preferences for these shorter shots and if a very particular disc is wanted arriving earlier for registration will allow you to have your pick of the litter.
One shot and one shot only, putting out or hitting the chains as you pass the basket will result in a loss of an ace attempt on the next hole. The goal is to be able to hear Aces as the tournament goes on, so only true aces or near misses(Metal Hits) should be heard. Celebrating Aces is highly encouraged and very exciting for all to hear.
RUN IT! You can only ace if your throw is far enough to hit the basket! All the holes for this event will be within reach for all types of players(60-100 ft)
Have fun and be supportive! This is meant to be a break from the stresses of Life and of Competitive Tournaments alike, Lets have some FUN and support a great cause at the same time.
SIDE GAMES:
A 50/50 raffle and an Ace Pool option will be available, all funds raised from the 50/50 will be added to raised tournament funds and donated to the cause. Ace Pool will be split among aces (I.E. you hit 2 aces and there are 12 aces hit total: you will receive 1/6 of the ace pool fund in cash or electronic payment)

Refund policy
This is a charity event and all proceeds will go to Do Only Good Animal Rescue, that being the case there are NO REFUNDS. If you register and are unable to attend your player pack will be available for pickup or can be mailed with shipping paid by the participant.
