Crocus Crush WGE & CWE

About this tournament
This will be our 4th annual Crocus Crush, highlighting women’s disc golf here in Manitoba! This year it is a combined WGE and CWE event.
PDGA Women’s Global Event (WGE) has women from all around the world play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women's Global Event. Scores from the first two rounds of each participating tournament are submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings are totaled and averaged to determine the player's "Global Score."
The Canadian Women’s Event (CWE) is in its second year and continues to highlight the women in disc golf. There will be 13 CWE's across Canada taking place in the months of May and June and a Canadian ranking system will be created for all participants.
This event offers all female divisions so players of any skill level will feel welcome to participate whether you are an experienced player or have just picked up the sport recently!
Divisions
All Female divisions will be offered at this event, including
FP divisions for Professional Players
FA divisions for Amateur Players
FJ divisions for Junior Players
If you aren't sure which divisions is right for you (it's a long list of possibilities), please reach out and we will help you!
FJ divisions will play only one round- in the afternoon, and will not receive a player pack, but are getting a discounted price.
If you've never played a tournament before, this is a fantastic opportunity to get out and enjoy the tournament atmosphere without the overwhelming nature found in large scale events. Every player registered will receive a player pack with everything you need to play, no experience necessary- come out and have fun!
Please share this and encourage anyone that you think would enjoy disc golf to come out to the event!
You'll be joining us at La Barriere for a full day of disc golf and good fun.
Round 1 is to have a shotgun start at 10am, all players will be preassigned a starting card and hole to be ready to go for 10am.
Round 2 will start approximately 1 hour after last card has completed the first round.
After round 2 has been completed we will gather near disc central (by hole 1) for a group photo and awards.
