Crossover Disc Golf presents: "Friday Night Flights Spring 2024 Series".
This Spring series will be on most Friday Nights from 3/15 thru May.
With the weather being unpredictable, we will put each week out week by week. From running these the past 2 years, we know that no one wants to play these in the rain. So if it is looking like a wash out, we will skip and move to the next week.
This series the dates will be the following. The 4 courses we will use will be: Boone Woods, Woodland, Idlewild 15 hole layout, and Lincoln Ridge. That's quite an eclectic mix for all skill levels.

The tee off times for these will be 545-615p depending on the course and the date. Obviously we will be gaining daylight each week.
Ok, let's dive in to some of the particulars. These tournaments will be a PDGA C-Tier 1 rounders with a shotgun start. The tee off times for these will be 545-615p depending on the course and the date. Obviously we will be gaining daylight each week. We are capping the field at 48 players. This is good for pace of play, and casuals who are on the course as well. Depending on the course we may add more, but 48 is where we are going to start with as a full field. If you want in, get in, don't wait until Friday afternoon. We are also fighting daylight early and late in the season.
Last year we toyed around with an ACE fund carry over. We are going to do it again. If an ACE isn't hit, it moves to the next week of the series with no throw off. At one point last year, the ACE fund was a multi week carry over. As that happens, again like I posted above, you need to sign up as soon as you know you want to play. These are wildly popular events, and while a traditional weekend event has a 72 player field, these do not. If there is no ACE hit the last week, it will just carry over to the next Friday Night Flight series.
There must be at least 3 players in a division, unless otherwise approved by TD's. We will move/consolidate as needed.
The cost for all divisions will be $20. You must preregister like a traditional weekend event. There is a $3 optional ACE fund.
These events are designed to be efficient and cost friendly. AM's will compete for Crossover Cash which they can exchange for disc golf merchandise. All Open players will be paid via PayPal.
An email will be sent out to all players the day prior to the event.
