Charlotte Roar Open - Presented by Greatest Media Team!

Greatest Media Team (GMT) is very excited to host the Charlotte Roar for the 2nd year! We are looking to make it even bigger and better than last time so keep an eye for updated details as we approach the event.

First and foremost, we want to thank our sponsors for jumping back on to help us with this year's event. Similar to last year, this will be a two day, PDGA B Tier Sanctioned tourney with RD1 Tee Times taking place Saturday October 26th from 7:30 a.m - 2:30pm and RD 2 Tee Times happening Sunday October 27th from 7:30 am -2:30 pm. See Tentative Schedule for full details. ONE MAJOR Change will be the inclusion of a 3rd location which we created Pools for.

Playoff Format: Should there be a playoff, players will play 1-18 in order at their respective course.


Am Player Pack and Payout Information...

All am players will receive a custom Charlotte Roar hat, Shirt, an Charlotte Roar Towel, and also in the works with Berg's Sports to see what we can come up with ;)

Additionally, all am player payouts will be handled by our friends at Discgolf 978, electronically, where they will create an account for you, and keep track of all your amateur payout credits. They are one of the most efficient, fairly priced, and customer friendly shops we love partnering with at GMT and are always helping give back to the community! This year will be no different as we'll be working with them to also add at least $500 back into the added merchandise value across the different am divisions.

Trophy Details...

We'll be getting custom, one of a kind trophies from our good friends at Heirloom Wood Works. Last year we blew everyone away with our trophies, check our our socials or the end the Lead Card video to see Alex Ziros walk off with one.


GMT Filmed Lead Card / Chase Cards....

With Approval and In Accordance with PDGA Event agreement and terms FPO Feature Card is scheduled to be filmed by Greatest Media Team Saturday October 25th.

MPO Lead Card Will be Filmed Sunday Afternoon November 5th. Feature Card may be filmed depending on resource availability.

Last year, between skins matches and coverage, the Roar videos got over 15K views on Youtube! 1) Regular Hole Sponsorship $25 - Hole Sign During Event. If Sponsor is a player they can choose which hole they would like to sponsor and who they would like to play with (first available). 36 Available.

2) Silver Hole Sponsorship- $50 - Hole Sign During Event + Hole Sponsor Shoutout on Hole Flyover In Post Production. If Sponsor is a player they get to choose which hole they would like to sponsor and who they would like to play with (first available). 36 Available.

3) Gold Event Sponsorship - $150 - Event Sign At Both Courses + Event Disc + Sponsor Sign Shoutout in Post Production Video Intro and Outro, Vendor Space at Tourney Location (5 Available)

Per the PDGA's refund policy, withdrawals made 14 days or more prior to the start of the event shall be refunded 100%. Withdrawals made within 14 days of the event will be refunded only if the player's spot is filled by someone off the waitlist.
