This year Ledgestone is offering TWO exclusive disc golf themed Escape rooms presented by Escapetown Peoria! The Escape room will be available Friday and Saturday night at the Flymart location: The Comfort Inn Hotel and Suites in Morton IL. The cost is $60 for a 30 minute block. Get a group of up to 6 people together to come enjoy this escape room. You can select any of the available times for your group. You do not have to have a group of 6; that is the maximum. When you register you will pay $60 and register under one name as we do not need all of the names of who will be playing the game with you. When you register you will select a time.
Detailed Storyline for Game #1
It’s Sunday morning, and you’ve found yourself in the lead by 3 strokes at the 2024 Ledgestone Open. Your lead is all thanks to your lucky Paul McBeth Big Z Luna, which you’ve used for every single shot so far-very unconventional, I know. As you start to pack your things around your hotel room….CRAP! You can’t find it. In a panic, you think back to the last time you saw it. After acing hole 18 at Northwood Black, you came back to your hotel room, put it next to the TV stand….and what’s this? Looks like someone left you a note. It reads:
“I’ve hidden your lucky Paul McBeth Big Z Luna in a spot where only few can find, so you have no chance of winning the 2024 Ledgestone Open. However, I will give you a chance to see if your wits match your disc golf talents. If you can find your disc, which is hidden in a secret room, before Sunday’s Ledgestone finale, you MIGHT have a chance to defeat me.”
After looking through the hotel, you’re pretty sure you have found the secret room your rival hid your disc in, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy to find your lucky Paul McBeth Big Z Luna. You know you can’t win without your Luna and you need to head to Eureka in 20 minutes for the last round, otherwise you’ll miss tee time. Better find your lucky disc, otherwise your three rounds of perfection will be for naught. Good luck!
Detailed Storyline for Game #2
Well, you did it. After entering the last round of the 2024 Ledgestone Tournament with a 3-stroke lead, you just threw the Paul McBeth Big Z Luna for every shot of the last round and absolutely dominated! Three aces in one round from the pro tees? That’s basically unheard of! Throwing a Luna 400 feet? Even more impressive. Congratulations on the 8-stroke victory!
Time to turn in your scorecard to tournament director Nate and claim your championship. Of course, you used PDGA Live to keep track of your round. You grab your phone to enter the eagle you shot on hole 18, but when you check your pockets….no phone? That’s no good. You search your disc golf bag, and what’s this? Another note from your favorite archrival and this time it’s written on the Big Z Luna? Seriously!
“Well you did it, you found your Big Z Luna and shot a perfect round. But that doesn’t mean I’m done sabotaging you yet. Your phone is hidden even better than I hid your disc! If you can find your phone and get your score to Nate, then I will back off and acknowledge your hard earned victory.
P.S. Since I love escape rooms more than I hate you, I left you some clues again.”
If you can’t prove your score to tournament director Nate, you’ll be disqualified. The trophy presentation is in 20 minutes and Nate doesn’t wait on anyone! Better find your phone and turn in your score, otherwise a wrongful champion will be crowned….Good Luck!
