Welcome to Ruby Run! A 1 round, flex-start PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier on the Red course here at Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort. This event will include opportunities to help raise funds for our upcoming B-Tiers! More details below.

This is a PDGA Sanctioned event and follows all PDGA rules, players are responsible for knowing and adhering to all PDGA rules.

LAYOUTS:

All divisions will be playing 1 round on the Red course.

TEE TIMES:

Flex start; players will choose a card/tee time. Cards of up to 4 players can include players competing in a mix of divisions, all cards must have a minimum of 3 players.
If cards do not have 3 players, card adjustments will be made Saturday Morning and players will be notified via email

PAYOUTS & TROPHIES:

PROS - Cash payouts to the top 45% of each division via PayPal.
AMS - Scrip/store credit to the top 50% of each division to the Kayak Point DGR Pro Shop.

If there is a tie for 1st place in a division and both players are present, a sudden death playoff will be held starting on hole 1 on the course played that day. If both players are not present for the playoff, payouts will be split evenly between those who tied.

Trophies will be awarded to the 1st place winner in each division. If there is a tie for 1st place and a playoff is not completed, we will make efforts to produce additional 1st place trophies so all players who tied get one.

PLAYOFFS:
In the event of a tie for first place, players will have the option to play a sudden-death playoff consisting of holes 1-4 on the Red course. As this is a flex-start tournament, there is a possibility that one or more of the players in a tie can't stay for a playoff. In that case, there will be a tie for 1st place and the winning will be split evenly. A second trophy can be provided but will take some time.

GOLF CARTS:

Golf carts will not be available to players during tournament rounds, though they will be available for rent to spectators or for rounds following tournament rounds.

LIVE SCORING:

Scoring will be handled using PDGA Live Scoring at pdga.com/score. The passcode will be provided during check-in.

REMINDER NEW 2024 RULE- ALL PLAYERS MUST KEEP SCORE VIA PDGA LIVE SCORING OR A PAPER SCORE CARD FOR EVERYONE ON THEIR CARD AND TURNED IN WITHIN 30 MIN OF FINISHING YOUR ROUND.

PLAYER CHECK-IN:

Players are required to check-in at the Pro Shop at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tee time to get the PDGA Live Scoring passcode.

Additionally, players are required to be at the starting hole at least 5 minutes before your scheduled tee-time.

FOOD & DRINK:
Outside alcohol and food are prohibited on the property. Aces BBQ & Grill will be open from 11am - 5pm, plus the Pro Shop has a variety of snacks and drinks including non-alcoholic and alcoholic options.

Disc Golf Resort LLC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. All refund requests must be made through discgolfscene.com.

The PDGA's Competition Manual Policy for Withdrawals & Refunds (1.03) will be followed. See below for a quick reference.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee (minus the discgolfscene.com processing fee).

Players who officially request to withdraw from the event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee minus the discgolfscene.com processing fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 50% monetary refund of their entry fee.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements will receive a 100% cash monetary refund minus the discgolfscene.com processing fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 25% monetary refund.
