Throw Pink Women's Team Championship sponsored by Innova

This is a women's team event. Teams are made up of four women each.

THERE IS A 3500 RATING CAP FOR ALL TEAMS.

This means that the combined rating of all four of your team members cannot exceed 3500. This is a one-division tournament, so please select GENERAL for your division.

Ratings for the event will be set as of the PDGA March Ratings Update. It does not matter what your rating is on the day of the event; it only matters what your rating was as of the March update.

This is to prevent last-minute issues with teams no longer eligible the week of the event.

If a player on your team has never received a PDGA rating, they will be assigned a rating of 725.

This is subject to change pending advice from the PDGA. Note if it changes, it will only go down, NOT up.

The $220 entry fee is for the whole team. The cost is $55 per person.

FORMAT:


This event is modeled after the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships format. Teams of 4 women will play two rounds of Team Doubles Play.

What is Team Doubles Play?

Doubles are played with two sets of teammates, one ODD and one EVEN. The ODD set will tee off on every odd-numbered hole, while the EVEN set tees off on every even-numbered hole. After the tee shots, the team chooses which of the two lies to play. From there, the set that did not tee throws their two shots. Again, the whole team decides which lie to play from, and the set that teed off would throw. That alternating process continues until the hole is complete. On the next hole, according to the hole number, ODD or EVEN, the corresponding set of teammates would tee off no matter which set putt out on the previous hole. This format allows each player to tee off the same number of times and for teams to play as a whole. Each hole has two teams playing together as an eight-some.

We'll have fun side games during lunch and after round two, including our individual and team putting championship, our accuracy bulls-eye game, and a few more fun activities.

This format generally runs fast, and with it being a one-day, two-round event, we hope you can squeeze us into your 2022 schedule for the second Women's Only Disc Golf Team event.

Room information:

King Room (up to 2 guests in the room) $160 per night. An extra guest in a king room adds $50 per night and requires a roll-away bed.

2 Queen Room (up to 4 guests in the room) $200 per night (divide cost by number of guests in the room)

if an additional guest is above 4, we add $50 for the extra person.

Extra portable bed for a room (like a rollaway, but we add an extra twin bed to the room, which is much more comfortable. The extra bed charge is a one-time $50 fee.

Payment:

They require the first night as a deposit to secure the room; the second night is due by April 1, 2024.

Payment forms accepted:

Zelle, Venmo, Applecash, Cashapp with no extra fees. We do not accept PayPal.
Credit cards have a 3.5% fee.

They have an on-site restaurant that is opening in the next two months, and it will be called The North Fork Restaurant, they will offer delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options to anyone coming to the tournament and the public in general.
There is a coffee shop and bakery located at the Inn as well.
