Silly Goose Disc Golf presents: YMCA 2024 Toss and Huck Doubles @ Huckleberry Park

This will be Hannibal YMCA's first ever Disc Golf Tournament! The hope is to see this become an Annual Doubles Tournament that the community looks forward to every year.

Silly Goose Disc Golf will be hosting this event in supporting the YMCA of Hannibal’s "Strong Community Campaign". Through our campaign the YMCA fundraises every year to be able to provide scholarships for membership, child care, youth sports and swim lessons. In the past year the YMCA provided over $140,000 in community support and scholarships for over 500 individuals right here in our own community. Please join us and support this year’s Strong Community Campaign as we deepen our impact across Hannibal and the surrounding areas.

The Doubles Tournament will consist of 2 Rounds.

Schedule is as follows:
Player Check-in: 8:00am - 8:30am
Players Meeting: 8:30am - 8:45am
Round 1 Starts: 9:00am
Break for lunch: 11:00am
Round 2 Starts: 12:30pm
CTP Competition: 2:30pm
Award Ceremony: 3:00pm

Tournament T-shirts are included and have been donated for every player registered.

There will be delicious BBQ for sale during the lunch break between rounds by "Boy's BBQ" Food Truck. Its going to be a great time for the whole family! Even if you cant play, come eat some yum-yums!

There are 4 separate divisions (MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4). Each of those Divisions will have Prizes for 1st place! MA1 division will also be competing for a “Silly Goose” Trophy in addition to the prize! If you are curious as to which one of those divisions your team will fit best in, here is a super quick and over simplified rundown:
- MA1 plays as Expert
- MA2 plays as Intermediate
- MA3 plays as Recreational
- MA4 plays as Beginner/Junior

The course will be changed for the Tournament due to Silly Goose Disc Golf creating a new layout. We have heard what the local players love and hate about the course and have created something new and fresh. Some of the holes will be the same but we are excited for you to enjoy the changes so that the course can be new, fun, possibly a lot more exciting for some! There will be 2 island holes with out of bounds marked and discussed at the Players meeting (8:30am).

We will have a CTP (Closest to pin) competition after Round 2 right before the award ceremony so that all players are able to compete together with an audience. We will stand at the top of the stair case above the softball field and throw to a basket placed in center field. The winner of each Division will receive a prize donated by MARKCHAINZ Disc Golf Club.

All funds go directly toward Strong Community Fundraiser.
