About this tournament
3rd Annual Austin Disc Golf Touranment-
Join us for our third annual disc golf event in the heart of Texas! This year, we're excited to bring together players of all levels for a weekend full of competition, camaraderie, and celebration in Austin, Texas.
As the event date approaches, we'll provide all participants with a detailed tournament Caddy book. This guide will cover everything you need to know, from rules to beautiful course layouts, ensuring you're fully prepped for the competition. Our goal is to guarantee a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Event Details:
Date & Location:
The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19 There are three rounds in total. Saturday will host two rounds at Zilker Park, and the final round will take place on Sunday at Circle C. All rounds will be shot gun.
05/18 - Saturday Rounds: Two rounds at Zilker Park
First Round Tee-off: 9 am. Please ensure you meet at the course 45 minutes before tee-off; we will have a meet-up/kick-off presentation at 8:15 am.
Second Round Tee-off: It will be one hour after the first round is completed due to a one-hour lunch break. It will be around 1 pm-ish.
05/19 Sunday Final Round: Circle C Disc Golf Course
Final Round Tee-off: 9 am. Please ensure you meet at the course 30 minutes before tee-off; we will have a meet-up presentation at 8:30 am.
Registration Fee:
$60 for MPO, FPO, M50
$40 for MA1, MA2, FA1, MJ15- Mixed Junior 15 (age 15 and under)
Ace Pot: An additional $5 per person is required to participate. This fee contributes to the starting ace pot of $100. If no one achieves an ace during all three rounds, players who paid the $5 for the ace pot will compete in a closest-to-the-pin (CTP) contest after the final round. The additional $100 will then be withdrawn.
Payout: Cash payouts across all divisions
Additionally, there will be a Doubles tournament event on May 17 for players interested in participating. I will be organizing this event, and the tee-off time is scheduled for approximately 4:30 to 5 pm. The course we will playing at Zilker Park.
Post-Event Celebration:
After crowning our champions on Sunday, join us at a local brewery to celebrate the event's success, share stories, and distribute prizes. It's a perfect way to wrap up a weekend of disc golf and friendship!
