This is a PDGA C-Tier

There will be 2 rounds played during the same day.
Layouts for rounds 1&2: MPO, MP40, MA1, MA40 will play the original layout. Everyone else will have a shorter temp pad on holes 8 and 10.

There will not be a player meeting morning of. This is the player meeting!

You must still check in between 8:00am-9:00am the morning of the event!

Am players will receive a player pack when they sign in before their first round.
Player pack will be a Prodigy disc from the Zoo City Club Store and a Mitten Mini of your choice from the collection.

Be at your starting hole for the ~9:20am start time. (~9:18am is the 2-minute warning)

Starting holes will be set on the PDGA page at ~9:05am.

If only 2 players show up to your hole, then the person listed closer to the top of the card will move up a hole and play with that group and the person closest to the bottom of the care will move back a hole and play with that group. You may not play a round with 2 people or less!

We will have a 1-hour lunch. 2nd round tee time will be posted at tournament central, Zoo City Facebook page, and on the Zoo City Open 2024 PDGA page.

We will be using PDGA digital scorecards as the official scoring method. ALL players can login into the PDGA digital scorecard and ALL players must keep score. If a player refuses to keep score, that player will be subject to disqualification. Paper scorecards will be available for players who do not want to use their phone.

After the tournament, the top 45% Am players in each division will receive payout to use at the Zoo City Disc Golf Store.

The top 40% of the pro division will receive their payment via the PayPal email that they registered with. If that email needs to be changed for payout or you are declining cash, then please let me know.

1st Place Trophies will be given out as well presented by Mitten Minis.

If an ace pool is not hit, it will roll over to the next Zoo City PDGA event. Ace Pool is starting at $310.

The official caddy book will be provided for all players by paper morning of. Below are some rules/notes that need to be highlighted.

Any water that is not the main creek that runs through the course is casual.

All first-place ties will be broken by a sudden death playoff using a loop of holes 1-8.

In the case of inclement weather, 3 long air horn blasts will signal pause in play. All players must stop playing immediately and mark their lie by leaving their disc, use a mini, or any natural object as quickly as possible and take shelter.

Hole 8 has 2 teepads. MA1, MPO, MP40, and MA40 will play the long teepad. Everyone else will play the shorter temp teepad for both round.

Hole 10 has 2 teepads. MA1, MPO, MP40, and MA40 will play the long teepad. Everyone else will play the shorter temp teepad for both rounds. Hole 10 has an artificial pond marked with a white line and yellow flags. This area is OB. If OB, a player may play from previous lie, where they were last inbounds, or proceed to the drop zone. All options have a 1 stroke penalty.

Hole 14 has a Mando. If the mando is missed, play from the previous lie or procced to the drop zone. Drop zone is only for missed mandos. These options have a 1 stroke penalty.

Hole 17 has a drop zone. This drop zone is use as a 3rd option is a player is OB. If OB, a player may player from previous lie, where they were last inbounds, or proceed to the drop zone (the short pad). All options have a 1 stroke penalty.

Any water that is not the main creek that runs through the course (along hole 17) is casual. You may tee off beside teepads that have yellow flags and an extended line that mark the extended area.
