Long, somewhat technical, good amount of water. Very good looking course and well kept. Some more signage would be good in some areas for "next hole" and more details as to where the hole's are on some longer, blind holes. Be weary- number 7 short drive to get into the woods, hole is about 300 feet from the tree line into the woods -- we had no idea and through past the entry way.

challenging course, must hit your lines, has a great mix of shots.

Another great addition to a state that is becoming a Disc Golf destination. Mostly wooded, but this course will test your long game as well. Boundary Waters has a complete change of scenery as you play. Plenty of personality, definitely worth the trip if you aren't near Douglasville.

Challenging but nice risk/reward. Seems a little schizophrenic though, you go from 250ft ace runs to 550ft holes, but the variety is nice and the lines are there if you can hit them.

Seems it was a rush job. Some lines are rediculous. Needed more attention to detail. Overall a decent course.

Great Course! Some long holes, but mostly technical and through the woods. I had a wonderful time playing here.
Course upkeep was excellent, teepads were in excellent repair, benches on most holes if not all of them...
Baskets were in good condition. Signage was a bit of a let down, not very helpful or accurate to current pin locations.
Overall an excellent course that I hope to play again sometime in the future!

I disliked several of the holes with trees directly in the path of the tee box. I did like that they had several holes over 500ft. They seem to keep the fairways clean and cut.

Great course, easy to navigate, challenging shots. Definitely need a full range of disc needed. The park itself is also beautiful. I would highly suggest this course

Some limbs need to be trimmed, and it needs better signage, but overall it's a good course.

I played my first round of disc golf at Boundary Waters 1 and looking back, the course provides an excellent introduction to the sport. With a combination of long, open fairways and tighter holes nestled amongst the picturesque pines, "BW1" shouldn't disappoint many players. As others have said, the course would benefit from better signage and next tee markers but there's a nice map and layout at the start of each course that's easily captured with your phone and can be used while you navigate t ...

Great mixture of technical and open holes. Great layout.

Awesome course! Only drawback I wish they had a map of the holes layout. But that’s easily overlooked after you realize just how nice of a park this is! Long shots (A+),technical shots(A+), elevation changes (A), signage (B).Definitely will be back !!!

Great Course! Technical and Fun...Great course upkeep and even in poor weather, the course held up. Teepads were concrete, and seemed in good repair. Baskets are new and appear to be Prodigy T2's.
Signage was disappointing for such a nice course. Poorly labeled, and not overly accurate, the signage appeared to have not been updated for the current pin locations. Finding the next hole was often difficult because of a lack of signage or clearly marked trails.
Had a great time and hope to come back to play again someday.

A compliment and recent addition to Boundary Waters I, this second 18 was built for the technical shotmakers who love the risk/reward play within a tighter layout and enjoy a good walk in the woods. The course still shows signs of being "cut in" and for the most part, each hole is unique and picturesque. Tee pads are excellent and I found this course easier to navigate that BW I. What makes Boundary Waters so nice is having 36 holes in one spot. BW 1 seems primed for longer, open fairways and BW2 caters to tighter constraints. Each course has a mix of both, however.

Definitely my favorite of the three.. such a variety of shots and everything is clean and drained well even after all the wet weather
